Annual Winter Clothing Drive
Each November, the Rotary Club of Naperville Sunrise announces the start of its annual winter clothing drive to benefit those in need of warm winter clothing. Rotary volunteers place boxes in the community to receive donations of coats, jackets, hats, gloves, scarves and mittens. All sizes, infant through adult, are accepted, although the need is great for men’s and women’s size XL, 2XL and 3XL.

Past beneficiaries include: Hesed House, DuPage PADS, Sharing Connections and  Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans.  These are local organizations that serve those in need.
We have partnered with these groups, in addition to the Naperville Consolidated Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204, in delivering warm clothing to those in our area who are in need in the upcoming winter season.

Over 50 collection boxes are placed in the community, including at businesses in the Downtown Naperville Alliance. By partnering with Sunrise Rotary, the Downtown Naperville Alliance makes it easy for residents to donate slightly used winter clothing while downtown shopping for the holidays.

For a list of Downtown Naperville Alliance businesses participating by placing collection boxes, visit www.downtownnaperville.com.

In 2017, the following businesses and community offices participated as drop off locations:
